Venison Enchiladas

Ingredients

Wild’n’Free venison kebab (500 g), canned tomatoes (400 g), onions, garlic, chili pepper, fresh parsley, sour cream, broth, grated cheese, tortilla.

How to cook

  1. fry venison pieces in a pan for 5-6 minutes (don’t let them cook dry), then add broth and simmer them under a lid at a low heat for another 20-30 minutes (don’t let them cook dry)
  2. in another pan, fry onions, garlic, chili, celery root, tomatoes, then add salt, pepper, broth and sauté everything under a lid for 20 minutes
  3. blend the contents of the second pan to make a sauce
  4. cut venison into even smaller pieces, arrange them on tortillas, sprinkle with fresh parsley, cover the tortillas and place them in a baking dish used to make the sauce
  5. pour the remaining sauce and sour cream over, sprinkle with cheese
  6. bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) until the cheese melts

Best paired with a neutral dry red wine or lager beer.
