Oriental-Style Venison Heart

Ingredients

Venison heart, fresh or canned tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, fresh chili, teriyaki sauce, fresh bell pepper, coconut milk, olive oil, rice, fresh salad.

How to cook

  1. slice the heart into small pieces and flatten them
  2. fry onions, garlic in a pan, add the heart pieces, teriyaki sauce and cook covered at a medium heat for 15 minutes
  3. add grated canned tomatoes or finely chopped fresh tomatoes, fresh chili, grated ginger, coconut milk, then cook covered for 10 minutes
  4. add fresh bell pepper, fry for another 3-5 minutes
  5. meanwhile cook rice

Serve with rice. Best paired with a neutral dry red wine or lager beer.
